Day 1; Arrival for 6 Days Birding- Gorilla Safari

Arrive at Entebbe International Airport and transfer to the Hotel for check-in and briefing about your stay in Uganda. Depending on your arrival time, if time allows we bird Uganda Wildlife Education Centre or Entebbe botanical Gardens.

Day 2 of 6 Days Birding- Gorilla Safari Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
After early morning breakfast, we set off for bird watching towards western Uganda for the birding experience in Africa’s No. 1 birding destination. Bwindi Impenetrable Forest national park is home to over half of the world’s endangered Mountain Gorillas population and is home to a good number of nocturnal and diurnal Primate Species, therefore, expecting an adventurous safari.

Day 3; Birding and Gorilla Trekking
On this day, early in the morning, you assemble for a short briefing conducted by the park warden at the trekking departure point before setting off for the memorable experience with the world endangered gentle giants. While trekking, you can encounter some other forest species like black and white colobus monkey, olive baboon, and many others. If trekking is done successfully early, you can have a self-guided birding evening around your overnight lodge premises. Look out to observe the Dusky Tit, Brown-capped Warbler, Black Bee-Eater, the Yellow-billed and Yellow-spotted Barbets, Common Stonechat, Brown-throated, and Chestnut Wattle-eyes, the African Black-and-white Shryke-Flycatcher, a number of Apalis Species, Slaty Flycatcher, White-bellied Robin-Chat, Equatorial Akalat, the Olive-green, and Grey-backed Camaroptera, Green Hylia, Short-tailed Warbler, White-chinned Prinia, White-tailed Anti-thrush, Cape Wagtail, Grauer’s Warbler, Grauer’s Rush Warbler, Grey-capped Warbler White-browed Crombec, the list is long.

Day 4; Ruhija birding
 Today we bird Ruhija sector in search for the darling Handsome Francolin, Strange Weaver, African Green Broadbill, Shelley’s and Dusky Crimson-wings, Rwenzori Batis, White-browed Crombec, Stripe-breasted Tit, White-naped Raven, Sharp’s Starling, Mountain masked and Rwenzori Apalises, Purple-breasted Sunbird, and other bird species.

Day 5: Evening Birding Lake Mburo.
In the morning will transfer to Lake Mburo with en-route lunch. Embank on an evening birding Experience in the park and look out for the White-tailed Blue Flycatcher, Brown-capped Warbler, Yellow-eyed Black Flycatcher, Black-billed Weaver, Red-headed Malimbe, Grey-headed Sparrow, Black-necked Weaver, Waller’s Starling, Montane Oriole, many-colored Bush-Shrike, Bocage’s Bush-Shrike, Stuhlmann’s Starling, Mountain Illadopsis, then windup at the logde

Day 6: Birding in Mburo and Transfer to Entebbe

Early in the morning Proceed for birding Nature walk in the park where you have a chance to see  more the 310 bird species like

African finfoot, African scops owl, Bare-faced go-away bird, Blue-breasted kingfisher, Blue-headed coucal, Brown-chested lapwing, Carruthers’s cisticola, Greater painted-snipe, Hairy-breasted barbet, Mosque swallow, Papyrus gonolek, Papyrus yellow warbler, Red-faced barbet (NE), Shoebill, Southern ground hornbill, Tabora cisticola, White-winged swamp warbler, Yellow-rumped tinkerbir after this you will embank on your drive back to entebbe for flight back Home.
