Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Kibale Forest National Park

Your safari begins with an early morning pickup from Kampala. Enjoy a scenic drive westward through Uganda’s lush countryside, passing tea plantations, traditional villages, and rolling hills. A lunch stop will be made en route in Fort Portal town, known for its beautiful crater lakes and mountain views.
Arrive in the afternoon at Kibale Forest National Park, Africa’s best destination for chimpanzee tracking. Check in to your lodge and relax as you prepare for the primate experience ahead. Dinner and overnight near Kibale.

Day 2: Kibale Chimpanzee Trek & Bigodi Community Visit

After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before embarking on your chimpanzee trekking adventure. Kibale Forest is home to over 1,500 chimpanzees, offering one of the highest success rates in Africa. Watch these intelligent primates swing through the forest, communicate, and interact in their natural habitat.

Day 5: Transfer to Lake Mutanda & Boat Exploration
